Istanbul-based multidisciplinary design studio BADS (BAşak Atalay Design Studio) was founded in 2000 by Başak Güleç and Başak Atalay forming a team of architects and industrial designers. For the last 20 years, BADS have successfully provided design, application and consultancy services for interiors, graphics and architectural wayfinding works to Clients.
Murals, Artworks and Letterings have been other areas of expertise for BADS as they have passionately designed and painted for their own interior designs. In fact, BADS have been responsible for the in-store artworks for world reknown retail brands such as Starbucks, Victoria’s Secret and Pink in Turkey, the Caucasus and the Middle-East.
Born in 1977 in Ankara. After graduating from TED Ankara High School, earned her Bachelor's Degree from the Middle East Technical University (METU), Faculty Of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design. Graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Faculty of Social Sciences having studied the Ornaments of Horse-drawn Anatolian Carriages. Has been working as a designer since co-founding BADS (Başak Atalay Design Studio) in 2000 with Başak Atalay.
Born in 1974 in Eskişehir. After graduating from STFA Technical High School, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Faculty of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design. Has a Master's Degree on Art History (Topkapı Palace Through The Eyes of Westerners-2013) from ITU. Started his design career in Trio Design as a co-founder back in 1997. He has been running his design works in BADS (Başak Atalay Design Studio) since co-founding the studio in 2000 with Başak Güleç.
